My Approach

The Process

Trying to find a therapist that you resonate with can often feel like quite a challenging experience. For this reason I offer a 20 minute initial free consultation so that we can get to know eachother a little. I will ask you questions about the issues you’re struggling with and what you’re hoping to address in therapy. I will also be asking you about your childhood experiences, family dynamics, relationships, or work for example. We may also talk about past therapy (if you have had it) and how you found it. This is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have of me.

After our initial consultation if we both feel that we are a good fit and decide to begin working together, we will arrange a day and time that we can meet on a weekly basis. I work one on one with adults over the age of 18 both in the UK and internationally. Sessions can be either in person or online.

I work long term, or over a shorter term. Psychotherapy is usually conducted on an open-ended basis and I usually suggest we review how things are going after six sessions to see if you’re getting what you hoped for from the therapy.

How I work

As an Integrative transpersonal psychotherapist I have a holistic and Trauma informed approach to mental health and well-being that integrates elements from traditional psychotherapy with spiritual aspects of human experience. I recognize the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit, and aim to help people achieve personal growth, self-awareness, and a deeper connection to themselves and the world around them.

In sessions I will draw on various therapeutic techniques and practices, such as mindfulness, IFS, Gestalt, body work, breathwork, art work, visualisation techniques, and dream exploration to help clients explore their inner lanscape, expand their consciousness, and tap into their higher potential.

My training qualifies me to work with many different issues but some of the things my clients have come to see me for are listed below:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Abuse

  • Chronic pain (fibromyalgia)

  • Trauma,

  • PTSD

  • Obsessive compulsive disorder

  • Fertility issues

  • Work-life balance and burnout

  • Feeling lost or stuck, or an absence of purpose and meaning

  • Low self-worth and confidence

  • Relationship and family issues

  • Identity Issues

 My Fees

The price for a 50 min session is £80.

Where that is not possible, I have limited availability for lower cost sessions which I am happy to discuss in consultation.
